BBQ Chicken

Running a high fever now, and the temperature is not going down. But at least I don't feel that miserable. While (hoping) waiting for the fever to drop abit, I might as well blog about the chicken.
The brand maybe BBQ chicken, but actually its specialty is fried chicken. The special thing about this brand of fried chicken, is that they use olive oil to deep fry. The result, is that the fried chicken taste a little sweet. The taste is special and terrific! Fried chicken never ever taste so good.
However, to my disappointment, the Singapore BBQ Chicken is so much different from the Korea. The most important thing is, it taste different. What I felt was, the skin taste very much the same, but the meat taste was so different.
Secondly, the way fried chicken is sold in Korea, is by number of chickens. This may sound scary but, 2 person can easily finish 1 chicken, and it is not small chicken. Sometimes, I could finish 1 chicken by myself. But that was in Korea, I cannot have the same appetite in Singapore. Perhaps it is the weather.
Thirdly, the price for one chicken is about S$20 in Korea, which has 8 pieces of chicken. But in Singapore, 3 piece chicken plus fries cost about $12. Crazily expensive.
Seeing the box, feels nostalgic. I was very excited when I first saw the box, and really anticipating the content. After opening it up, felt really disappointed. Anyway, fried chicken in Korea is pronouced as chikin. And BBQ Chicken is probably one of the few places in Singapore where you can find nice fried chicken.
Well, though disappointing, if I have a craving for korean fried chikin, at least I know I can find it here.
