Though she is a material girl, she is also a plain jane. She may be a party animal. But all she wants, is to be loved and cared.

Club Day
There is this thing call a Club Day in Seoul. It is held every last friday of the month. You pay one flat fee (20,000W) and you get one free drink + entrance to all the participating clubs.

Sounds very exciting yah? Turns out to be a bit of dissappointment.

First we got off at the subway station. There was so many people going up that it jammed. I thought, 'wah! so happening sia!'.

After purchasing the ticket, we tried to get around and find the clubs. In the beginning, we entered those small clubs. I mean, tiny. They are even smaller than the MLT in NTU. Totally crap, no crowd, just 3 or 4 people dancing.

But eventually, we found the clubs that had such a long queue you wouldn't believe we still manage to get in.

The queue to this place (where we spent our night at in the end) was twice what you see in the picture. It is crazily long, but suprisingly moving fast. I don't understand how can this be possible. This club is probably half the size of Powerhouse, but it is double storeys. That is also why, you can't dance in the club, because it is so crowded.

One thing about Seoul club is, you can do a lot of people-watching. It is pretty easy to spot pretty people. I saw a number of pretty girls, and many cute handsome men. But no, I didn't do anything. I forgot to take my cam with me, left it in my coat.

Clubbers for the night.

I don't like the clubbing culture here, but it is a very steep learning curve. When you observe the koreans clubbing, you learnt alot of things. The most important thing I learn is: I love Singapore clubs and Singaporean man. Why?

The clubs in Singapore are much bigger than here. You have space to move about, to dance, music is good, at least you have a wide variety to choose from. Korean clubs are so small you can't move, consider yourself lucky if you can move left and right. And they also play more of hip hop music, which cannot really dance to. They even play slow songs (!), but this is couple-friendly. Koreans don't like to dance in group, they dance in one line, all facing same direction. And they move from left to right. Come on! That is not even dancing.

Korean men are so aggressive in finding their targets in club. They will just grab you on the waist and dance. They don't bother to catch your attention first, then slowly slowly dance more intimately with you. They just go behind the girl, like really close, then after a while he will hold her waist and dance. They don't even make eye contact or talk at all! And it is like one moment you see this guy dancing with this girl, another moment you see him alone, and the next moment he is with another girl. And they will walk around the club to look for their target!

If you find Singaporean men aggressive, Korean men are worst! When I go back to club, Singaporean men's approach will be nothing to me. Maybe they will find me aggressive, haA~.
