Road Block

We were suppose to go Zouk yesterday night. We queued and it was just not moving as it was too crowded. I couldn't even sign in priority with my credit card, crap. In the end we left, and after thinking for damm long, we ended up at Tong Shui at Thomson to have supper (more like breakfast).
And my friends saw the R8 at Zouk! Crap, why did I park at the other carpark! Roars.
Anyway, I was sending my friend back and we kena police road block near his house. I was actually speeding through the road, until we saw the red and blue blinking lights. Quickly brake. At first I thought is accident or what, I got really poor night vision. As we got closer, we realise is road block.
This is my first road block, so I don't really know how to respond to it. The cop was holding his light stick out. I couldn't figure out he was asking me to stop, or he was asking me to go. More over he was standing in the other land. I actually wanted to drive through very slowly, I was just too confused at his signs. Then my friend told me to stop. So we wind down the passenger window. The cop look at me, I look at him with lots of question marks on my head. I almost wanted to ask him "Yes?". But before I could get the situation right, he smiled and signal me to leave.
Actually I was abit unhappy at the end of it. First he got me so confused, and he didn't bother to say something to me when I was cleared. He could just say okay or something. Maybe I am asking too much (afterall they are the police), but I just thought it would be nicer and more polite to at least communicate with the driver. But the cop looks like a young and new one.
I should be thankful anyway. If we went to drink I will sure have to take the breathe analyser (which will be another first). And it didn't occur to me until I was on my way back, he could have fined me for turning on my fog light. Not smart ah, speeding and fog light.
