Once again, Koreans touched my heart.
I remember the other time when we were at Jeju without a guide, and we had to find our own way with our little knowledge of korean. We asked around for directions, we couldn't understand their reply. Despite the language barrier, they were very kind and help us in every way they can.
Again, today I went to the Korean embassy to do my visa. However, the certificate of admission issued by KAIST had an error. The expected date of arrival says 11 Feb 2007 and not 2008, so they could not accept my application. But the officer called up KAIST and helped me solve the problem. I just need to make another trip down tomorrow.
I have thus made my conclusion. Koreans may look unfriendly, possibly due to their facial features, making them look unapproachable and fierce. But when you ask for help from them, they will not refuse, and will do their best to assist you in whatever means they can. Thus, do not be afraid to ask them if you need help.
Well, hope that my fyp supervisor is as kind as the other Koreans I have met!
