Yesterday morning I was watching 小孩不笨2 tv series on Channel 8, and I probably heard the funniest and most ridiculous joke.
There is this chinese delicacy called 东坡肉. It is actually fat pork meat dish that is named after Su Dongpo, a literary figure in chinese history.
So the kid in the show said "东坡肉就是新加坡东部买的肉做成的菜", which means the meat that is bought from the east side (东部) of Singapore (新加坡) and made into the dish.
I burst out laughing so loudly that my mum thought I was mad. Come to think of it, it is quite silly.
