Though she is a material girl, she is also a plain jane. She may be a party animal. But all she wants, is to be loved and cared.

Getting sentimental for no reason... oh well...whatever.

Anyway, that night my friend was applying for a job at UBS. And he had to take an online assessment test. So he gathered the army to do the test. First part is the maths (econs) questions. Second is the logic questions (see patterns and determine what is next).

My friend saw the logic questions and literally stun. He couldn't do it at all. The bioscience students to the rescue! Apparently we fair better in logic, while engineers fair better at maths.

Well, so after seeing the online assessment test, I was quite interested in trying the test. So I went to apply for a UBS job as well. My logic questions were so much more difficult! I almost fainted. And I was doing it alone, because I did it out of fun. But it was okay, I manage to finish before the time limit is up.

Now I am waiting to see if I pass the test. So far I had not received any rejection email. Crap. I have never thought of working in the banking industry. Now I am thinking should I just reject the offer straight or try for it (if offered).

Well, my friends ask me to just try. You never know if you can get the job. To me, I think I will try for the interview experience. I seriously don't forsee myself working in this sector.

But the thought of high starting pay is quite tempting. Imagine I just need to stay for one year or two, I can probably buy a brand new car, I don't have to buy a 2nd hand car, though it is not really important. And I can continue my masters/phd after that.
