Yesterday was the last day of entrepreneurship course. Yeah! Finish! But still have business plan to do :(
Anyway, we gave ourselves a break and went to Colbar to eat. I must take pictures the next time I am there (which is the coming Friday). Well, the food is okay only, the serving size is very different from dish to dish. Quite weird actually.
And I was thinking why the expats like to frequent this place? What is it that attracts them to the place? The food is only okay, so what makes them come back again? The history? Their roots?
On my way down I actually saw an accident, a minor one though. The car infront of me just stop even though the traffic light turned green. Then he on his hazard light. I was very confused, until I realised it kissed the butt of the car in front.
So after food we went Holland Village for a drink. I was damm lucky. You know how difficult it is to find carpark at Holland V. The moment I reach the multi-storey carpark, a man just drove of his car. So I didn't have to wait. My lucky car.
We wanted to go Wala Wala, but it was crowded. So we went Eskibar. I went into the cold room. Freaking cold! Brrrrrrr!! I came out in less than a minute. At around 10pm we left, because we were tired. I went home and plop on the bed.
Today one of my friend asked us to go GardenAsia Oktoberfest. GardenAsia again, the ulu place where we held our UOC DnD. Lucky thing we drive (technically, I didn't, I hitched a ride).
But if you ask me to drive alone there I will probably cry. The Bangla squatter is enough to freak me out. Imagine the whole stretch of road all Banglas sitting along the road! Freak!
Anyway, back to GardenAsia. Actually I think the place is quite pretty, but the location is just wrong. I wouldn't drive there at night.
So Oktoberfest! Drink German beer! We got to sample 14 types of beer from Brewerks, Pump Room, etc. So of the beers are quite nice, fruity, malty, wheaty. I am not really a beer person, but I still did enjoy some of the drinks.
It was a great night. It would be greater if it was clubbing. Sh*t, itching to club again. Why did I pick up clubbing at such a later stage?
