Since lessons are cancelled due to Union Day, we went to have (my long awaited) dim sum at Bosses, located in Vivocity.

The happy people
Not many people went. 몇 사람 갔아요. Some of them last minute fly our aeroplane. Well, too bad for these people, we really enjoyed the food.
We went to Bosses because there is a dim sum promotion, 50% off from 2.30pm to 5pm. I shall reveal the price of the bill at the end.
We ordered lots of food, because we were so hungry! We didn't have lunch just to eat the dim sum, heE~.

The entrance - looks posh

Even the teapot, cups and utensils are beautiful
Anyway, these are what we ordered.

White egg tart and Chee Cheong Fun

Shanghai guo tie

Sze chuan dumpling and (my favourite!) shuimai

Xiao long bao and Prawn salad wrapped with bean curd skin

Carrot cake, custard bun and char siew bun

Some repeats, har gao and this yam basket with scallop
Overall, the food is nice. 음식이 좋고 맛있어요.
The egg tart is nice, the egg is still abit fluid, but I still prefer those with egg yolk.
Chee cheong fun was okay, I have tasted thinner ones before.
Guo tie is nice nice nice!
Shuimai is nice X100000! The prawn is huge, and the filling is chewy. This is now my no. 1, replacing the jurong point one.
The szechuan dumpling is just, dumpling in some abit spicy sauce. A dissappointment.
Xiao long bao was juicy and okay. I still haven't eaten one that makes me go wow.
The prawn bean curb wrap is okay. It will be better if they didn't include the salad, gives it a weird overall taste.
Carrot cake is quite dissappointing. Not nice at all. 안 맛있어요. Maybe it is abit too grainy.
Har gao is super nice too. The filling is very sufficient, alot of prawns, and the skin is very thin.
The custard bun is very special. You would expect custard to be sweet, but the filling is salty, just like eating liquid salted egg yolk.

The custard bun
I would say the taste is pretty unique and nice. I didn't have the courage to try the whole thing though.
The bill was a total $74+ (for 4 people). Imagine if this is during non-promotion period, it will cost a whopping $140+. I seriously wouldn't spend that kind of money for the dim sum. I have tasted expensive dim sum, but the quality is super good. This is definitely not worth they money during non-promotion period.
After a very filling lunch, we walked around Vivo, and then settled for Bens and Jerrys. I think we had 6 scoops of ice cream.

Bens & Jerrys as dessert, yummy!
