About 2.5 weeks more before I fly to Korea. I haven't done much. I haven't brush up my korean, not typed my minutes, some parts of our tour still not confirmed...

Actually, I find it abit scary to fly this time. Maybe because this will be the first time I am flying overseas without a guide. I have flown on planes alone, but that is different.


This time, I will be flying by myself, together with 7 other undergrads. We will be there for 20 days, and we do not know what awaits for us there. I think the closest experience would be Phuket trip. We just book our air tickets and accomodation, and just travel around Phuket with no specific plan in mind. But that was only 3 days. This time is 20 days, although the first 2 weeks are planned by the school.

Anyhow, I just hope that I can enjoy myself on this trip. A good long holiday to reflect on myself.

It was the Police Week Carnival a few days back. I decided to pop down since I was going to town.

Well, I actually wanted to catch the drifting actions, but I wasn't in too much luck, didn't get to see it.


But it allowed me to take a trip down memory lane. When I was in secondary school, I joined NPCC. So there are times where we will have to go to the now Old Police Academy. It was quite nostalgic when I saw the shooting range, where we went through the test to get our marksmanship. Then there was the building where we get our uniforms. In fact I went there twice, second time because I brought my cadets to receive their uniforms. Then I was casually walking around, where I remembered that we once have to march from place to place in the academy when in our uniform.

I didn't actually quite enjoyed my npcc days, but a trip to the old PA actually did brought back some memories, pretty interesting. I remember the times we learnt how to fire the gun. And also the day where we actually fire the gun with real bullets. Those were the days...
