My dad is nuts. He wants to buy me a car now. Although I really wish to have a car of my own, I still think it is not worth it now. He wants to get me a red plate car (weekend), then convert to white plate when I graduate.

But then again, COE is going to rise, so this is the best time to buy car already. And it will be easier to convert the plates also.

But still, I don't think the car is necessary right now *although I love to have one* The petrol is enough to kill! That day I rented a car out, and luckily the petrol is borne by the company. Half a tank of petrol cost $40! Goodness, full tank will cost you $80. And if it is red plate, I have to pay extra $20 is I travel to town in the day. (Unless I travel to NTU only, then I can risk not paying, haA~). Well, I wouldn't stay hall next semester if we really get the car. Save the hostel fee for the petrol. Anyway, if my INSTEP is approve I will be flying overseas next year, so no one is going to use the car anyway.

Conclusion, I can't hide the anxiety of the prospect of having a car, but then I don't think it is necessary right at the moment.

Yesterday we had a sub-comm appreciation night. It so happen that it is our President's birthday. So at the end of the event, they poled him on all possible poles that you can find on the way to the pond. And they made him swim across the pond. After he come out from the pond, he start running around hugging people (because he is wet). I just stood there and told him "If you dare to hug me, you will die big time (since I am the Hon Gen)". But he heck care and hug me! OMG! Needless to say, my shirt became damp. *Sigh* He is so going to get it from me during next meeting.
