.she is.

Though she is a material girl, she is also a plain jane. She may be a party animal. But all she wants, is to be loved and cared.

Last Friday we went for the Duke Ellington Orchestra Jazz Concert. Fantastic! I love the saxophonist! And Byron Stripling! He is really great, he not only plays the trumpet, he is also a great singer! He really hype up the whole concert.

Anyway, I just remembered something I observed during the NTU Open House. The girls who came to visit the halls commented on the single and double rooms. Apparently they don't want to stay in single room, because they say it is very scary to stay alone. They were talking like kids (my definition of kids = childish people).

Personally I would prefer single room, I think alot of people would prefer it also. So I thought about why we and the kids think differently. We are a bunch of 20+, they are just 18 years old. Is there really such big differences in thinking? Or is it university life that changes us? Or is it just the 20 year-old mark?

I think university change me alot. I think it is due to the campus activities I was involved in. Having been in decision-making roles allowed me to learn and grow. My friends around me, particularly those very close friends, also influence my thinking. We talk about literally anything under the sky, even sensitive topics. And it is this kind of exposure that helped me mature.

If NS is the stage where the boys mature to become men, then university is the place where girls mature to become women.
