Though she is a material girl, she is also a plain jane. She may be a party animal. But all she wants, is to be loved and cared.
But honestly, I felt that it wasn't necessary, and I don't see the link of her with the rest of the stories, except for her father. I expected her to be involve somehow directly.
Anyway, I don't see why Babel was quite highly acclaimed. Yes I agree it was shot very beautifully. The linking part was good too. But what do you get out of the film at the end of the show? I got nothing, and I feel it has nothing to do with Babel, as in the one mentioned in the bible. And also, some part of the movie is redundant; it makes the whole movie very draggy, and sometimes boring. Some parts of the movie are also not well developed, I think they could offer more explanations for these parts.
Bottomline: The film is okay, but at the end of it, you feel "empty".
