Though she is a material girl, she is also a plain jane. She may be a party animal. But all she wants, is to be loved and cared.

Apparently it created a big hoo-haa, her father (a local member of parliament) had to apologise for her daughter's behaviour on the newspaper.
Well, I agree everyone has freedom of speech, especially in their own blog. But I think we should blog responsibly. The words she used were too insulting. I mean, come on, what the 40 years old man said is an undeniable fact in an average person's life.
We are not elites, we are not born into a rich family, the older generations are facing problems with job opportunities in this world where everything is about qualification. At his generation, some of them did not have the opportunity to study, cause some of them are poor, or their parents are illiterate. My parents belong to that generation. I remember when I was young, in kindtergarden, I do not know what is close and open, reason being, my parents were not english educated, and thus, there was practically no one to help me with my English. I am not so lucky like Ms Wee to have parents who speak good languages.
I am definitely no elite. And I am no much older than Ms Wee. I feel the pressure of being an elite in order to secure a job. But let me just say, being book-smart is not everything. There are many things in life that books do not tell you how.
Sorry if my English sucks. I certainly hope to have a ricebowl in the future. ("how can you expect to have an iron ricebowl or a solid future if you cannot spell?
")
"please, get out of my elite uncaring face" - Shame on you to call yourself an elite when you post this kind of insulting comments.
