BS305 Practical

Last Wednesday (30/08/06) we went to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. For what? Lab practical.
When I told my friends that I am going to the reserve, they gave me the "for what?" look. When I told them it is for practical lesson, they were even more shocked.
Believe or not, 100+ of us went to the reserve, together with 2 professors. It has been such a long time since we travelled as a huge group to somewhere, like some primary school excursion trip. We are studying Plant Biology this semester, so we went to the reserve to observe some of the plants.

Just find the pink leaves beautifully scattered on the track.
Finally, we reach the summit.
There is this string with a metal plate thing. It is actually used to measure the diameter of the plant as it grows. Interesting huh?
We had a pretty interesting trip, although most of the time we were playing and not listening to the professor. Nevertheless, we enjoyed ourselves very much, most of us came with the mentality of enjoying, rather than attending lesson. It was some kind of breakaway from school work, take a breadther.
