Many things to update this week...
1) I finally got my cast of my hand...luckily nothing big happen to it, just that it still aches a little, can't straighten totally, bending feels a little strange, but I guess it takes sometime to get use to it and work those muscles out. I have to go back for another check in May. Actually wanted to go gym and some classes, but then my hand I still don't dare to use much force (cause it hurts if I do), or maybe I will go for some personal training to train up the arm muscle a little...
2) Went to IKEA and finally bought what I needed. And it is the first time that I bought something there is of poor quality from there. I bought this magazine rack that is made of metal. The base has a small patch that is rusty, which didn't bother me much, but then the thing can't screw in which really irritated me. I have to bring it back for an exchange....but then I would be able to get some other things that I didn't manage to buy this time. There is still a couple of things that I hvn't buy yet.
3) I tried making some of the dian xin, which turn out to be a small disaster. Not that it taste bad, but the shape didn't turn out to be like what the picture in the book is. Felt kind of cheated, coz it wasn't really that easy to make after all. But then it still look ok and taste not bad, just that I wouldn't be able to bluff my way through saying that I bought it from some dian xin shop. haA~...whoever believes this, I must say eyes got stamp ah...
4) Went with char (n ger) to ntu today, coz she got written test n interview for mass comm. While char went for the test, hw n me went on an "adventure" in such for the coffee club express. We sort of got lost and walk the wrong direction. To reach there actually takes about 5-10mins, we took half hour before we found that place...haA~...2 sotongs...Well, was kind of disappointed when we found coffee club, coz it is not air conditioned (plus the weather now is HOT...), but then it was ok, coz very windy and we had a freeze which sorts of help us cool down. Then hw went for work, char went out with her frenz, me went home make egg tarts. No disaster this time, in fact turn out quite good. But the egg abit overcook n too a little too sweet. Ok, then can make for they all to try liaoz...tt means tml I would have to wake up early to do it. Sigh...
Sunday I have to wake up at 6am! Argh..so early...becoz of that stupid pig la..hmmp...but then got no choice. Sigh...
